Katelyn Angell: Next Stop, Lehman College

photo of Katelyn AngellOver the past two and a half years, many Graduate Center students, faculty, and staff have interacted with Adjunct Reference Librarian Katelyn (Kate) Angell. In her time at the Mina Rees Library, she provided top-notch reference assistance; taught workshops about finding grants and more; contributed to several iterations of the Open Pedagogy Fellowship; assisted students depositing their dissertations, theses, and capstone projects; completed hundreds of e-book search requests; made 150 CLAGSNews articles publicly available in CUNY Academic Works; and more.

So it is with both great pleasure and a little bit of sadness that we share that Kate is leaving the Graduate Center for a new opportunity. But she’s not leaving CUNY! On August 25, she will join Lehman College as a tenured associate professor in the position of Assessment–Data Management Librarian.

Please join us in congratulating Kate on this next step in her career! (And if you’re also affiliated with Lehman College, you just might get to work with her again!)
