Stress Management at the Library, Courtesy of the DSC & IT

There won’t actually be open flames in the library, but we’ll try for the feeling of serenity.

This is crunch time, and the most grounded and centered of us are feeling the strain. Whether you’re hunching over a keyboard, grading your way to wrist cramps, or studying till your eyes water, you’re probably overdoing something. On Wednesday, May 24, from noon to 6 pm, the Doctoral Students’ Council will again bring its library-based finals relief center to GC students.

Come find stress mitigation and a few moments of relaxation. The library will host free 10-minute chair massages and napping/meditation stations. Pick up a pair of earplugs while you reserve a spot.

All these services can be found on the library’s first floor, between the elevators and the ILL office. Stop by and peace out.

Wait, there’s more! If what’s stressing you out is your computer crashing or the printers not printing, there will also be an IT person in the second-floor student lounge from 1 to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
