Meet our new Library Coordinator!

We are delighted to announce the hiring of Nancy Seda as the new Library Coordinator in the Graduate Center Library. Nancy will assume the role of supervisor for the Circulation and Reserve departments starting Monday, April 26th. Her new responsibilities will include training, evaluating, and motivating the full-time and part-time staff at the Circulation Desk. Nancy will also now be working more closely with other libraries across CUNY to help improve services such as CLICS.

Nancy brings years of experience to the position, having worked in Access Services for the last 18 years. Prior to this promotion, Nancy worked as the senior College Office Assistant in the Circulation department right here at the Graduate Center. We are delighted to have her continue working with us in this expanded capacity. Her public service skills will be an asset to the library when interacting with the Graduate Center’s diverse community. Our patrons will be able to count on receiving enthusiastic and detail-oriented assistance from our service desks.

Please join us in welcoming Nancy to her new position and wishing her great success with her expanded responsibilities. Feel free to stop by the Circulation Desk and congratulate Nancy. She can also be reached at 212-817-7043 or by e-mail at nseda@gc.cuny.edu.
