Silvia Cho has been honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award, at the Graduate Center’s 24^th Annual Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony.  Silvia has been our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Supervisor, since 2013. She had previously worked in our ILL Office as a library school student, where she first learned about the satisfactions and challenges of providing access to locally unavailable information for an always appreciative GC community! Silvia works in ILL, at the reference desk, and as a library liaison to the French, Hispanic & Luso-Brazilian Literature & Languages and Linguistics departments. She adds value to every ILL transaction we process, every day, 30,000+ times a year.

Her collegiality is appreciated by all her colleagues in the library, as well as everyone who she works with in the Graduate Center and everyone in all the partner libraries that we lend information to and borrow material from. Successful ILL work is always a group effort, and thanks to Silvia and everyone in the ILL Office, our ILL service is a successful one.
