Graduate Center librarians teach research workshops all year round, but there’s a particular whirlwind of events this fall, especially in September and October!
No matter where you are in your graduate studies or scholarly journey, there’s sure to be something on our calendar that addresses your needs as a student, researcher, or author. Upcoming offerings include:
- Introduction to Library Research (offered 6 times!)
- Science Workshop Series (5 different topics)
- Library Research: Social Science Databases
- Introduction to Archival Research
- Cite Like a Pro: Academic Citation Styles for Graduate Students (offered twice)
- Introduction to Zotero (offered twice)
- Scholarly Publishing Workshops (3 different topics, with more to come)
In addition to workshops, the library offers recurring drop-in help hours on several topics:
- Dissertation Office Drop-In Hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2-4pm, through September 17)
- Zotero Drop-In Hours (Mondays at 1-2pm)
- Archival Research Drop-In Hours (every other Tuesday at 11am-noon)
- Scholarly Publishing Drop-In Hours (Thursdays at 3-4pm)
As the semester rolls on, more workshops will be added. The library’s website always features immediately upcoming events, and from there you can click the “EVENTS” link to browse the full calendar.
