As part of the library’s laptop loan program, two laptops — a PC and a Mac — that have assistive technology features (and the capacity to be loaded with additional assistive technology as needed) have been made available through Tech Fee funding for short-term borrowing by students who need use of the adaptive features and are referred by the Office of Student Affairs. The proposal was approved in order to provide equal access within the context of the library’s laptop loan program. For the same reason, these two laptops will reside at the Circulation Desk — but will be signed out only to students who have been referred by Student Affairs.
