Update, October 13, 2015: The library website and proxy server are still down, but work to restore them is ongoing. We hope that everything will be functioning again shortly; stay tuned for further announcements. Read below to learn about your options for accessing library resources during this outage.
Due to a server failure, the Graduate Center Library website will be down until Tuesday October 13. This failure includes the GC Library proxy server, so access to e-resources through the library proxy are compromised.
In the meantime, use the library’s back-up website: http://gclibrarybackup.org/.
You can also directly access the library catalog (https://libsearch.cuny.edu/F) or the OneSearch cross-database search tool (http://onesearch.cuny.edu/primo_library/libweb/action/search.do?vid=gc).
Furthermore, you can access these resources:
- A subset of the GC’s databases via CUNY’s list of databases (log in with library barcode)
- NYPL Databases Available Anywhere (log in with NYPL library card)
- All NYPL Databases (some available at NYPL only)
- Google Scholar (not proxied — no GC full text links)
We sincerely apologize for the interruption in service and the inconveniences it causes.
