Doctoral students, help us help you! By now you should have received an email inviting you to complete the GC’s Doctoral Student Experience Survey. One of the best ways to let the library know how well we’re meeting your needs, and where we should focus our attentions, is to complete the survey and let us know what you’re happy with and what needs improvement. (Question #47 is all about library resources and services.)

A bit more about the survey:

The Provost’s Office is committed to gathering student opinions about their experiences at the Graduate Center and using that information for ongoing planning, so that we can do our best to help current and future students make the most out of their time at the GC. The survey has been an important tool for decision-making in the Provost’s Office. For example, the survey played an important role justifying increased support for student professional development.

On October 25th, the Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness will launch the 2016 Doctoral Student Experience Survey. The survey will be sent to all enrolled doctoral students via their GC email and will be open from October 25th until November 18th. Students completing the survey will be eligible for a raffle for five $50 Amazon.com gift certificates.

Please make your voice heard by responding to the survey.
