Welcome, Ingrid Conley-Abrams – Adjunct Reference Librarian

The Mina Rees Library is excited to formally introduce Ingrid Conley-Abrams, who has recently joined us as an Adjunct Reference Librarian.

Ingrid Conley-Abrams, a Queens College MLS graduate, is a librarian with over 15 years of experience working in both public and school libraries in New York City. During her career, she has provided resource materials recommendations, instruction, and research assistance to students, school-aged library patrons and their families from Midwood, Brooklyn to the Upper West Side and many communities in between.

Ingrid Conley-Abrams brings with her substantial classroom experience, with a particular strength in teaching research skills and database usage. Additionally, she was named an ALA Emerging Leader in 2012, served as a Director-at-Large of the Rainbow Round Table, and worked on the Stonewall Book Award Committee. Ingrid has spoken extensively about LGBTQIA++ services and literature for such organizations as NJLA, OLA, Book Riot, ALA and more.

At the Mina Rees Library, Conley-Abrams will provide in-person and virtual research support for the Graduate Center community at the Reference Desk, and online.
