Columbia University Now Open to MarLI Affiliates

We’re happy to share the news that beginning today – Monday, December 6th – Columbia University will welcome back MaRLI affiliates to Butler Library. With its primary strengths in the humanities, Butler holds 2 million volumes, and is the largest of Columbia’s 15 campus Libraries. [Please note that MarLI access does not provide electronic access to the Columbia databases, either from on or off campus.]

How to access: Visitors must reserve an appointment in advance and check in at the Library Information Office with proof of vaccination, ID, and symptom attestation. Kindly refer to the Columbia University Libraries’ Visitors page for more information.

If you are an existing MarLI affiliate: If you have not already done so, simply visit an NYPL Research Division to validate your MaRLI membership and obtain a MaRLI sticker for the current term before your visit. [Please note that onsite access to NYU libraries is not available at this time to MaRLI affiliates.]
