Dear Graduate Center community,

I am pleased to share the good news that effective Monday, November 15th, the Mina Rees Library building will be open from 9am to 9pm Monday through Friday and noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. In-person reference services will continue to be available on the second floor from noon to 5pm weekdays. Checkout of physical materials will be available any time the building is open. Access to the Mina Rees Library is available to currently enrolled CUNY students, faculty, and staff with a current CUNY ID and a Cleared4 access pass.

This expansion of in-person access is possible due to the hard work of Curtis Matthew, our Head of Circulation and Reserves, and his team, staff in the financial aid office, and our new Graduate Center student workers. Thank you!

The safety of the community remains our top priority. Please observe social distancing norms and wear a face covering when inside the library.

We know how crucial library collections, services, and spaces are to teaching, learning, and research at the Graduate Center and are excited to welcome you back on evenings and weekends. See you in the building!
