Welcome back to the new semester. As we begin the Spring 2019 semester, we have two troubleshooting items to share with you!

  1. IT Services will help you for the first two weeks of the semester.
To help you with management of passwords, log-in confusions, and troubles with blackboard access or other IT Service related issues, we will have an IT Specialist in the library at the start of the semester.
    Friday, January 25th – Friday, February 8th
1pm – 5pm in the Library Lounge (room 2301, east of the printers)
The IT Services department has brought the Help-Desk back to the library by supplying face-to-face, one-on-one support to students, faculty, and staff in need.
  2. Use the Classic Catalog search!
The CUNY Office of Library Services is having on-going trouble synching OneSearch with CUNY book records. As a result, books that the GC and other CUNY libraries own may not appear in the library OneSearch search. We expect a correction by mid-February. For the first two weeks of the semester, search in the Classic Catalog.  The link to the Classic Catalog is directly beneath the OneSearch search bar on the main website.
