The end of the semester means that it is time to congratulate our graduating class (!) and spend the long weekend recovering from an even longer semester. As you make your warm weather plans, keep summer library hours in mind.

• Memorial Day Weekend: The library will be closed Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30.
• Independence Day: The library will be closed Monday, July 4.

To close a $600,000 budget gap  this fiscal year, the GC administration asked the Library to curtail hours where library use last year was lowest. Therefore, we’ve shortened summer weeknight and Saturday hours.

• Summer Hours starting Tuesday, May 31:
  • Monday – Friday: 10am – 7pm
  • Saturday: 12pm – 6pm
  • Sunday: Closed
• Reference Desk Hours:
  • Monday – Thursday: 11am – 6pm
  • Friday: 11am – 5pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: Closed
