Over the last month, the web team has been working behind the scenes to migrate some content on our website onto a new platform (that we also use for our Research Guides). Along with a new look, our A to Z list of online databases also got a few additional features that might be worth exploring with your own research:

• A direct/stable link to each database: Click on the link symbol to the right of any database name and find a URL that you can use from on or off campus to get directly to the library-subscribed (i.e. proxified) content for a particular resource
• An easier way to search through database descriptions: the new search box at the top of the page can be used to search the names and brief descriptions of all of our databases (not the content of the databases, though!–try OneSearch for that kind of functionality)
• Database types: We’ve tagged our databases according to some of their features, and now you can use the upper left drop-down to filter the full A-Z list and limit to: just our streaming video collections, primary source materials, ebook collections, or citation managers (just for example)!
• Filter databases by vendor: Likewise, the right drop-down menu allows you to filter all of our databases so that you can see all of the items we subscribe to according to a particular vendor, publisher, or scholarly organization
• New and Trial databases are now featured prominently on the right side of the page, as well as in the full alphabetical list
