Please join Graduate Center Adjunct Reference Librarian, Donna Davey, at the Graduate Center June 14 from 4-6pm for Archival Research: The Basics. Donna brings a wealth of knowledge from her former roles as Tamiment Librarian at NYU’s Tamiment Library & Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives, Curator of Manuscripts at the New-York Historical Society, and Senior Reference Librarian at New York Public Library.
In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of archival research in this hands-on workshop discover what archives are and how they are arranged, where and how to look for sources, and what to expect when you visit an archival repository. Bring your laptop to follow along.
